At our dental clinic, we believe in preventive dentistry as the highest priority. While we have a myriad of available dental procedures from the simple to the highly complex and technical, we would rather see our patients avoid treatment procedures by taking good care of their oral health. This is equally the case for all of our patients from the youngest children to our most mature patients.
We highly recommend our senior patients visit us for a thorough teeth cleaning and check-up at least every 6 months to prevent oral health problems as much as possible and catch any issues early to minimize the risk of further deterioration. At our preventive dentistry appointments, we also clean and check up on any prior restorative or prosthodontic treatments that you may already have to maximize their chances of longevity and rectify any issues before they become serious.
For senior patients with underlying dental health issues, we may recommend that you visit more regularly to ensure we catch any progression of these issues as quickly as possible.

For patients who qualify for Denti Cal (the dental coverage portion of MediCal, which is California’s version of the Medicaid program), significantly more dental procedures may be covered.
